Dog stabber sent to state prison

Robert Burgess will serve up to two years, followed by probation. The judge barred him from owning any pets during the sentence.A former Warminster man convicted in October of stabbing his neighbor's dog was sentenced in Bucks County Court in Doylestown on Wednesday to one to two years in a state prison.
