Woman leaves dog in car trunk at Alex’s, police say

A Stoughton woman was issued a summons last week after police allegedly found her dog locked inside the trunk of her car.Stoughton Police received a call from a person in Florida Monday, Nov. 16, at 12:10 a.m. The person reported that a relative who works at Alex's of Stoughton told her that a dog was locked in a car in the parking lot.Officer Jonathan Gagne responded to the parking lot and searched the vehicles but did not immediately locate the dog.
