POLICE Community Support Officers in North Cornwall have been given new powers to crackdown on dog owners who allow their pets to foul in public places.
Police say the move is in response to public concern about irresponsible owners and now the PCSOs are able to issue fixed penalty tickets to those who fail to clean up after their dogs.
